How to delete downloads

You can delete a downloaded show or movie from your device when you're finished watching it.

You can also delete downloads from a device you don't have access to by removing that device from your Netflix account.

Delete a single show or movie

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

  1. In the upper right, tap Downloads.

  2. Next to an episode or movie, tap the download status icon .

    • To delete individual episodes, select the show first.

  3. Tap Delete Download.

Note:Some devices have Download Next Episode, which will delete a downloaded episode after it's watched then automatically download the next episode.

Delete all downloads

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

  1. In the lower right, tap My Netflix.

  2. At the top, tap the profile name.

  3. Tap App Settings.

  4. Under Downloads, select Delete All Downloads.

  5. On the confirmation screen, tap Delete.

Delete all downloads from a device by removing it from your account:

Web browser

  1. Using a browser, go to your Manage download devices page. You may need to sign in if you haven’t already.

  2. Select Remove device to delete all downloads from that device.

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

  1. In the lower right, tap My Netflix.

  2. At the top, tap the profile name.

  3. Tap Account.

  4. Under Settings, tap Manage download devices.

  5. Tap Remove device to delete all downloads from that device.
