How to manage text messages from Netflix

You can choose whether to get text messages from Netflix by going to your Account page under Notification settings.

Here are the text messages you can receive from Netflix once you add and verify your phone number:

  • Account access and recovery messages: To help you sign in to your account or recover your password.

  • Account Messages: Important information about your Netflix account.

You can also opt out of text messages from Netflix and receive help by replying to a text message. Use the following messages:

  • STOP: Stops all messages.

  • HELP: Takes you to the Netflix Help Center.

Note: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

If you don't want to receive any text messages from Netflix, select Mobile phone in the Security section of your Account page, then select the Delete Phone Number button.
