Aang (Gordon Cormier) and the Gaang have been bending heaven and Earth (and Fire, Water, and Air) to get you more seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and there’s finally rest for the bendy. Netflix announced that Season 3, the final chapter of the live-action series, has officially wrapped. Clearly, everyone involved in the series has gone full Avatar State, because the cast found time to share a photo from the set to celebrate the occasion.

But before we can go deep into Season 3, Season 2 has yet to launch. Watch this video taken in May 2025, back when the second season wrapped, followed immediately by the start of production on Season 3. In the video below, Cormier, Ian Ousley (Sokka), Miya Cech (Toph), Kiawentiio (Katara), Dallas Liu (Zuko), Elizabeth Yu (Azula), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Uncle Roh), Daniel Dae Kim (Fire Lord Azai) make the shift from Season 2 to Season 3 as only they can.

That’s a wrap on Season 2. The time of Sozin’s comet draws near.

There’s even more news about who’s joining the Gaang for Season 3. Scroll on for more about what’s still to come from Avatar: The Last Airbender. As Kim says in the video, “We’re just getting started.”
