From acclaimed director Bao Nguyen (The Stringer, The Greatest Night in Pop) and renowned production companies This Machine (Martha, Karol G) and HYBE comes BTS: THE RETURN. The feature-length documentary will come on the heels of BTS’s live performance on NetflixBTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG and will chronicle the long-awaited return of band as they make of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG. The movie offers rare behind-the-scenes access as the group comes back together to chart an unprecedented path forward. You can watch the opening scene of the film here.

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has reached extraordinary levels of success and built a fan base that has taken on everything from philanthropic work to politics. After some time apart, the seven members meet up in Los Angeles to return to a shared creative space and make music again. For their next chapter, they reflect on their whirlwind past as they contemplate what the future of BTS will look and sound like.

BTS: THE RETURN offers an intimate look at the performers as they work through their doubts and share moments of laughter and rediscovery. Watch as BTS contemplates how to begin again, wrestles with honoring the past without being bound by it, and redefine an ever-evolving identity as the bandmates grow as artists and global icons.
