Cue the festive music because it’s time to celebrate our girl Chrishell. During the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion, the revelations were as jaw-dropping as any Hollywood Hills mansion, but perhaps the most surprising reveal was about the O Group agent’s new relationship. Throughout the show's five seasons, fans have seen the highs and lows of Chrishell’s love life. Her divorce from ex-husband Justin Hartley was heartbreaking to watch unfold in Season 3, but her recent breakup with Jason was even more devastating — it even brought Brett to tears during the taping.
Don’t worry — Chrishell’s got no tears left to cry because she’s found happiness once again. “You don’t get to choose when you meet someone in their life,” Chrishell tells host Tan France during the reunion. “Recently, I’ve met someone that is in a different place in their life.” So, who is this mysterious someone? “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip, they’re non-binary so they go by they/them,” Chrishell finally reveals. After having her heart put through the wringer so many times, we’re delighted for Chrishell. If you’re still curious about the new romance, here’s everything you should know.

G Flip is a non-binary Australian singer, songwriter, producer and drummer. They started their career as a drummer and backup singer before releasing their first single, “About You,” in 2018 — named “Best New Track” by Pitchfork. Their debut album, About Us, was released in 2019 and received an ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Music Award and J Award. Other hit songs by G Flip include “GAY 4 ME,” “Drink Too Much” and “Hyperfine.”
“It started because I was just gonna be in their [music] video,” Chrishell reveals. “I come from soaps, I love acting. With the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it.” While it’s unclear when the real estate agent and musician actually started seeing each other, Internet sleuths have been speculating about them since March when TikTok started making videos about the pair. On March 29, G Flip posted an Instagram photo with the caption, “I’m shooting a music video today and it just might maybe cause a lil bit of chaos.” “Bring it,” Chrishell responded with a heart and flame emoji. Could this be the music video she’s referring to?
The title of the upcoming single is unknown, but Chrishell describes during the reunion, “It’s about this chaotic love story.” Chaotic is right. Viewers get a sneak peek of the music video, and G Flip and Chrishell don’t hold back as they portray a passionate couple arguing and making out in a convenience store.
“They [G Flip] seem like a badass, for one. And two, the smile that’s been on your face the last couple of minutes makes me very happy, so I’m proud of you,” Jason tells Chrishell. Someone give this man a hug — and a medal for most supportive ex!
All the agents were supportive of Chrishell, although a few were left too stunned to speak. (The camera person who panned from Maya to Davina’s reactions deserves an Oscar for best cinematography.) Here’s what some of them had to say during the reunion: Maya: “I’m happy for you. Whatever makes people happy, it doesn’t matter. I know how [Chrishell] wants to be a mom, and, hopefully, G Flip is in the same boat. I’m happy that you are happy. I had no clue.” Mary: “I knew, but she’s never directly [said it]. I don’t know if I wanted her to, because then I would feel like I have an answer to give and I don’t want to give an answer. I feel like that’s up to her to say something.” Chelsea: “Honestly, Chrishell, I think I speak for everyone when I say this, you give everybody the ability to really just evolve and be vulnerable and be exposed and be bare. Congratulations. I see a happiness in you, and I’m loving this for you. Live your best life, sis!”
“I think I was as surprised as anyone,” Chrishell tells Tan. “Nothing’s really changed for me. I’m still very much attracted to masculine energy and a good human. I hear people talk about these things and they’re like, ‘I knew from a young age.’ That’s not me. I’m very open to good energy, and I don’t know what my future holds but it is a complicated issue to talk about. I know, being in this position, we get judged constantly, but, at the end of the day, I’m so happy.”
