My Life with the Walter Boys is heading back to the corral. The hit teen drama series has been renewed for a fourth season. And, as fans know, Season 3 hasn’t even premiered yet! The next installment will debut later this year, with Season 4 slated for 2027.
“I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season,” says showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall. “We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”
My Life with the Walter Boys follows New York teen Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) as she adapts to country life alongside Walter brothers Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry) and the rest of their rambunctious (but loving) family. Halsall tells Tudum, “Our story’s about love and romance and love triangles and all those teenage trials and tribulations around those things, and we’re not going to divert from those — so much, much more of that to come in Season 4.”
Halsall can’t wait to share it all “with our amazing audience, who have shown so much love for this show.”

While fans will have to tune in to find out where Season 3 will leave Jackie, Cole, Alex, and all their loved ones, we do know where the drama will at least begin. The upcoming episodes will pick up after Season 2’s massive cliff-hanger, which saw Jackie and Cole admit they’re in love with each other. Alex, Jackie’s boyfriend — and Cole’s brother — overhears. The revelatory exchange is suddenly interrupted when an ambulance comes to the ranch for Walter family patriarch, George (Marc Blucas).
Based on the novel by Ali Novak, My Life with the Walter Boys is executive produced by Halsall, Ed Glauser, and Becky Hartman Edwards. Sony Pictures Television, International Production and iGeneration Studios (The Kissing Booth trilogy of films) are producers. With the Season 4 pickup, this is the second consecutive year that My Life with the Walter Boys has been renewed before its pending season’s release.

Season 1 of My Life with the Walter Boys reached No. 1 in Netflix’s Global Top 10 and was No. 1 in 50 countries. Season 2 debuted at No. 1 in the Global Top 10 and reached the Top 10 in 85 countries — it also drove Season 1 back onto the global charts. Combined, Seasons 1 and 2 have spent 15 weeks in the Global Top 10 and amassed over 130 million views from 2023 through the end of 2025.
The series is part of Netflix’s expansive slate of beloved young adult stories — from breakout hits like Ginny & Georgia, Outer Banks, and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder to unique coming‑of‑age series, such as Forever and XO, Kitty. You can also expect upcoming titles including The Body, Poser, Little House on the Prairie, and the Victorious spin-off, Hollywood Arts.
