Hut, hut, hike! Quarterback is back, and the stakes are bigger than ever.
Netflix’s hit sports documentary series returns to give football fans exclusive and unprecedented access to a quartet of quarterbacks as they navigate the 2025 NFL season on and off the field.
From injuries and trades to parenthood and expanding families, Quarterback Season 3 highlights an all-new roster of signal callers at different crossroads of their NFL careers.

Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels joins Quarterback after taking the NFL by storm as a rookie in 2024. Setting multiple league records while leading the Commanders to a 12-5 record and a game away from the Super Bowl, Daniels was nearly unanimously named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. After putting the league on notice with a historic debut season in Washington, Daniels enters Year 2 with the pressure, attention, and momentum all dialed up.
Former Heisman Trophy winner and top draft pick Baker Mayfield bounced around the league a bit early in his career, but has certainly found a home — and a growing family — with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, earning two Pro Bowl selections while replacing the legendary Tom Brady. Entering his third season with the Bucs in 2025, the expectations couldn’t be higher for Mayfield and his talented receiving corp.

The NFL’s most recent No. 1 draft pick, Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans, makes his professional debut with Netflix cameras watching his every move. The record-setting college QB earned the Davey O’Brien and Manning awards as one of the country’s top quarterbacks in his senior season at the University of Miami, and now takes his talents to the professional level, already the face of his new team.

Joe Flacco has been in the NFL almost as long as Ward has been alive. The former Super Bowl MVP is the first player to be traded during a season of Quarterback, offering a unique look at the business of the NFL. As he finds his way from the Cleveland Browns to divisional rival the Cincinnati Bengals, Flacco must learn a fresh playbook and build relationships with new teammates, all while balancing fatherhood.
Quarterback is executive produced by Peyton Manning and Jamie Horowitz for Omaha Productions; Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers, and Jessica Boddy for NFL Films, and Patrick Mahomes and Jacquelyn Dahl for 2PM Productions.
The series is directed by Courtland Bragg, Shannon Furman, Tim Rumpff, and Emily Winter, with Joe Zucco as showrunner.
All episodes of Quarterback Season 3 launch July 14 on Netflix.
Netflix features a robust roster of NFL content, headlined by the Dallas Cowboys’ legacy explored through two lenses: the high-stakes auditions in America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and the 1990s dynasty chronicled in America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys.
From the creators of Quarterback, Receiver features five pass-catchers — Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and Amon-Ra St. Brown — over the course of an NFL season.
The Emmy-nominated Elway, highlights John Elway’s legendary transition from Hall of Fame quarterback to Denver Broncos general manager.
