Where You’ll See ‘Bridgerton’ Breakout Regé-Jean Page Next

Science and nature have never sounded so delectable.

Dearest gentle reader, we know how much you’ve been anticipating the premiere of Bridgerton Season 2. In the upcoming season, all eyes will be on the stoic (and, thankfully, sideburn-less) Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), while the dashing Duke of Hastings will be nowhere to be seen among the ’ton. What are fans of Regé-Jean Page to do? Don’t despair. Though Simon’s chapter in Bridgerton is officially closed, Page is still very much a member of our Netflix family.

Action fans are already eager to see Page’s appearance in the forthcoming Russo Brothers film, The Gray Man, alongside Ryan Gosling. Until we can let you in on that release date, you can tune into Page’s velvety smooth voice in the gorgeously shot nature documentary Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale.

Page narrates the saga, debuting March 3, which puts its viewer in the tall grasses and vast deserts of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. With Page guiding us on a journey through the wet and dry seasons, we follow one bold lioness, a pack of painted wolves, various birds and a baby elephant as they persist and persevere through drought, famine and flood.

Though the vivid eroticism of the Duke of Hastings’ spoon is absent, it’s clear that Page picked up some narration tips from Lady Whistledown. With his words and through the lens of filmmaker Renée Godfrey, Surviving Paradise illustrates the complexities of the animal food chain and climate change while showcasing how we are all intertwined in this cycle of life.

Surviving Paradise may not have been where you expected to find Page next, but we can promise you that science and nature have never sounded so delectable.
