It’s a love story, baby, and viewers said “yes” as they pushed Nobody Wants This Season 2 to No. 1 on the English TV list with 9.4 million views. In the new season, agnostic podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and unconventional rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) navigate the post-honeymoon phase of their relationship and face the hard truth of their differences. Fans also relived the couple’s meet-cute, putting Season 1 at No. 7 with 2.4 million views. Even better, Joanne and Noah’s love story isn’t over yet: the series has officially been renewed for a third season coming to Netflix in 2026.

Speaking of giving off sparks, the adrenaline-fueled dramatic thriller A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE captivated audiences with its tense play-by-play of the government response to a nuclear missile of unclaimed origin. The movie, directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow and written by Noah Oppenheim (Zero Day), is a global hit, taking the No. 1 spot (31.6 million views) on the English film list in 93 countries.

Halloween revelers chose movies and shows fitting for the arrival of the big holiday. Trick-or-treaters everywhere showed their love for the ladies of HUNTR/X with KPop Demon Hunters costumes — and by putting the animated musical at No. 2 (14 million views) on the English film list in its 20th week in the Top 10. Those looking for a more magical and mature spooky-weekend watch indulged in the new season of The Witcher, casting its spell at No. 2 on the English TV list with 7.4 million views. Season 4 introduces Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia, the monster hunter for hire, as he, Ciri (Freya Allan), and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) are now scattered across the continent. Also new this season is Laurence Fishburne, who joins the cast as Regis

Horror purists turned to the Indonesian zombie film The Elixir to get their frights for the holiday. The film, about a dysfunctional family whose patriarch accidentally invents a zombie-inducing potion that quickly spreads, scared its way to No. 1 on the non-English film list with 6.1 million views. Viewers craving true crime thrills gravitated to the new documentary Aileen: Queen of the Serial Killers, which took No. 3 (10.1 million views) on the English film list. The movie offers new insights into the life and crimes of Aileen Wuornos, a rare woman serial killer who killed seven men between 1989 and 1990. Those interested in historical serial killers also found their way to Monster: The Ed Gein Story, which details the life of the 1950s murderer whose crimes inspired many of cinema’s most formidable horror villains. The series was No. 6 on the English TV list with 2.8 million views.

Those seeking high-octane thrills for Halloween week found The Asset, which debuted at the top of the non-English TV list with 11.3 million views. The Danish thriller ranked at No. 1 in the Top 10 of 90 countries and stars Clara Dessau as a police cadet who goes undercover as a luxury jeweler to infiltrate a drug lord’s inner circle.

In anticipation of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things — and spurred on by the release of the official Season 5 trailer — fans found it the perfect time to return to where it all began, putting Season 1 on the English TV list at No. 10 (1.8 million views). The first four episodes of Stranger Thingswill be released on Nov. 26, followed by three episodes
on Christmas, and the finale episode
on New Year’s Eve.

Ballad of a Small Player joined the game this week, launching at No. 4 on the English film list with 6.9 million views. The Macao–set drama stars Colin Farrell as a debt-ridden gambler who, while on the run from a private investigator (Tilda Swinton), is offered a lifeline by a mysterious casino employee (Fala Chen).

Season 9 of Selling Sunset sold audiences to nab the No. 3 spot on the English TV list, with 4.2 million views. This season, The Oppenheim Group welcomes a new luxury real estate agent to its LA office: Sandra Vergara, a former entertainment journalist (and a relative of Griselda star Sofía Vergara). BOOTS continued to march forward, taking the No. 4 spot for its fourth week on the list with 3.7 million views.

Rulers of Fortune won the No. 2 spot on the non-English TV list, with 5.3 million views. The Brazilian crime drama centers on André Lamoglia as an ambitious newcomer who challenges the long-established power players of Rio de Janeiro’s illegal gambling scene. The first four episodes of Physical: Asia strong-armed their way to the No. 3 spot on the list, with 5.2 million views. A spin-off of the hit reality series Physical:100, this fitness competition pits teams representing different countries against each other, with world-class athletes Manny Pacquiao, Yushin Okami, Kim Dong-hyun, Superbon, and Robert Whittaker as the teams’ captains.

Caramelo continued to charm viewers, earning the No. 3 spot on the non-English film list with 4.1 million views. The Brazilian film follows a rising chef who receives a life-changing diagnosis and seeks solace in the companionship of a stray dog. At No. 4 (4.1 million views) on the list was the German documentary Babo: The Haftbefehl Story. Following rap artist Haftbefehl, born Aykut Anhan, the movie peels back the glittering facade of show business and provides a layered portrait of a man who struggles with the demons of his past and present.
