WWE’s Chelsea Green Spills on Using Social Media and Being a Double Champ

The new Women’s US Champ spoke from the red carpet at Netflix House Philadelphia’s opening.

    Nov. 14, 2025

On the Nov. 7 episode of SmackDown, Chelsea Green scored a victory over Giulia to become the first two-time Women’s United States Champion.

Making history has become the norm for Green over the past year. She was the inaugural women’s US title winner and is currently a double champ — she also reigns as AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion, along with tag partner Ethan Page. She tells Netflix it’s the first time she’s partnered with a male Superstar who isn’t her husband (Matt Cardona), and her winning dynamic with Page makes her optimistic about the future.

“I feel like 2026 is going to be a good year. I’ve been learning a lot from [Page]. He’s forcing me to bring out the more gritty, edgy, darker side, so I think we’re going to lean into that.”

Two female wrestlers compete in a WWE ring under bright arena lights, with an excited referee counting a pin. The crowd watches the energetic match, creating a lively and intense atmosphere.

Green’s success isn’t coincidence — it’s a result of her hard work, perseverance, and willingness to do anything asked of her. That dedication is on full display in WWE: Unreal Season 1, Episode 3, where Green’s relentlessness and will are on full display. “For someone to win, somebody else has to lose. Guess what? I’ll be the loser if that means being booked every day,” she says.

Though she’s willing to do whatever it takes to entertain audiences, make no mistake — Green also relishes winning. “As a wrestler, we have goals. We set timelines for ourselves. Of course, one of the goals is always to be a WWE Champion.” One of the tools she’s utilized to grow her popularity is social media, which Green regularly uses to engage with fans. She tells Netflix, “In 2023, I realized how personal it was to be able to interact with fans on social media. I’m able to curate my own narrative and storylines. Now that’s just who I am. I connect and further the message I want to get across. Social media is everything. I don’t know where I’d be without it.”

Female wrestler celebrates in a packed arena, holding championship belts while lifted by fans. The environment is energetic, with lights and a wrestling ring, capturing a triumphant, festive mood.

With Green firing on all cylinders, who will be the next Superstar to get a shot at her title? That remains to be seen, but she has no interest in naming names or calling anyone out. While we often see champions actively seeking out contenders so they can defend their belt, Green marches to the beat of her own drum. She has a different (very valid) logic. “I don’t have dream opponents because I prefer to keep my titles. I would prefer to take these championship belts around the world and never have anyone challenge me for them.”
