There was no shortage of acclaimed movies and series that made waves in 2023, and they are front and center for consideration as Golden Globes nominees. This year, Bradley Cooper’s Maestro took the stage and landed four nominations. Meanwhile, Charles Melton, Julianne Moore, and Natalie Portman’s performances did not go unnoticed, as each received nominations for May December. The Todd Haynes–directed film also earned a Best Picture nod.

But it wasn’t just films that caught the Globes’ attention: BEEF was all the rage, earning a nod for Best Limited Series, with Ali Wong landing a nomination for Best Actress, and Steven Yeun for Best Actor. And The Crown was royally recognized, too: the show made history by being nominated every year it was eligible, including this year’s Best Drama Series.

Netflix also earned some laughs with five out of the six Stand Up Comedy nominations in its first year as a category. Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes, Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer, and Ricky Gervais each picked up nominations for their performances that had fans laughing — and sometimes crying.

Read on to see the full list of all 28 Netflix nominations, and tune in to the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 7 starting at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST on CBS.
