‘Love, Death + Robots’ Is Back with Even More Love, Death and Robots

The first insanely beautiful look at Volume 3.

Get ready for some new ❤️❌🤖, because Love, Death + Robots is back for Volume 3. The newest installment of the anthology animated series drops on Netflix on May 20, and we’ve got a new trailer + some first-look images for you.

Volume 3 continues to explore strange, grotesque and occasionally beautiful new worlds, from stylized two-dimensional landscapes to some strikingly realistic CGI animation. But the series will also be returning to a few fan-favorite destinations: The titular trio from Volume 1’s “Three Robots” have a central role in this teaser trailer. You can also spot some more imagery from previous episodes in the trailer, including snippets of Volume 2’s “The Drowned Giant” and Volume 1’s “Alternate Histories.”

As the trailer winks, Love, Death + Robots has racked up 11 Primetime Emmy trophies across its two volumes, including multiple wins for outstanding individual achievement in animation and outstanding short form animated program. Not bad for a show that features Adolf Hitler being crushed to death by a wagon full of bratwurst.

Check out the teaser and images below and catch Volume 3 of Love, Death + Robots, extreming May 20.
