Lights, camera, (Night) action! The Night Agent is coming back for a fourth and final season, and this time around, several new characters will be along for the ride in Agent Peter Sutherland’s (Gabriel Basso) last mission.

New additions to The Night Agent cast for Season 4 include Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland) as Cahlin, Annabeth Gish (Mystic Pizza, Midnight Mass) as Holland, and David Denman (Mare of Easttown, Rebel Ridge) as Ford. As previously announced, the upcoming season will also feature Titus Welliver (The Town, Bosch) as Duval, Li Jun Li (Sinners, Babylon) as Min, Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight, Bird Box) as Dom, and Elizabeth Lail (Five Nights at Freddy’s, You) as Zoe.

Coming off an epic assignment in Season 3 that took him around the globe — chasing stolen financial intelligence and cracking open complex conspiracies — Peter will soon return for an exciting final assignment, as confirmed in the video above. “It’s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents … and we’re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland will continue into Season 4,” says series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan. “Our writers, our cast, and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns, and thrills.”

As those fans know, Season 3 ends with Peter telling his boss, Agent Aiden Mosley (Albert Jones), that he’s finally decided to take a much-needed break from work. The FBI deputy director seems pleased but also dangles new possibilities for the agent once he’s ready to return. “I’ve been thinking about the request you made earlier for a partner. I think I have a candidate in mind,” Mosley tells Peter. As Ryan previously told Tudum, that tease is “meant to be a launching pad for Season 4.” Now, fans are a bit closer to finding out where it’ll lead and who else might be involved.

The Night Agent remains a Netflix fan favorite. Following its premiere, Season 3 hit No. 2 on the English TV list, earning 9.9 million views in its second week. At the same time, the series’ first two seasons also returned to the Global Top 10 list.

Filming for Season 4 recently began in Los Angeles. The action-drama joins other recent Netflix productions in LA, including Nobody Wants This Season 2, Running Point Season 2, and The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4, as well as the upcoming movie Animals from director Ben Affleck, BEEF Season 2 from creator Lee Sung Jin, and Monster Season 4 from creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
