Shortly after Judd (Bateman) walks in on his wife (Spencer) cheating on him with his boss (Shepard), he finds out his father has died. When Judd heads home to attend the funeral, he’s forced to stay there for a week and deal with his dysfunctional family — including his celebrity psychologist mom (Fonda), his three world-weary siblings (Driver, Fey and Stoll) and his siblings’ spouses.
The movie takes place in an unnamed New York City suburb and was filmed on Long Island.
