He’s back: The Vince Staples Show returns to Netflix on Nov. 6.

In the wake of a tragic death, Vince embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace. However, his path is littered with reminders of his haunted past. Watch the Season 2 trailer now.

The Vince Staples Show is a satirical comedy series from the mind of the rapper and actor and is executive produced by Kenya Barris, Staples, Corey Smyth, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling, and Leonard Chang. Staples, Ian Edelman, and Maurice Williams co-create the series. Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones join Staples as recurring guest stars.

When the show was first renewed, Staples told Tudum: “The Vince Staples Show is back! The people have spoken and the most riveting, captivating, and polarizing show on Netflix is returning for Season 2. Get ready for hijinks that only a mother can love. Thank you, Netflix!”

The first season is often funny, sometimes emotional, and always thought-provoking. Each story is a slice-of-life tale told through a satirical lens and, as Staples told Tudum when the show premiered, there’s plenty of opportunity to expand.

“We’re able to have 365 episodes of this thing because they’re all based on what it’s like to just exist day-to-day,” said Staples, who plays a version of himself on the show. “Next for Vince is literally anything because anything could happen at any moment, that’s just how life works.”

Staples never left the spotlight after The Vince Staples Show Season 1 dropped in 2024, releasing his critically acclaimed album Dark Times, spending days trending on X for being effortlessly hilarious, and making the TIME100 Next list. Now the next phase of the Staples era is fast approaching.
