    Sirens Enchants Top 10 Again, Adolescence Jumps to No. 2 on Most Popular

    Plus, the Spanish crime thriller A Widow’s Game debuts at No. 1.

It’s impossible to resist the mesmerizing call of Sirens, which captured the attention of viewers for another week at No. 1, and landed in the Top 10 on the English TV charts in 91 countries. Starring Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, and Kevin Bacon, the dark comedy explores wealth, power, and family dynamics through the cultish lifestyle of a wealthy socialite — and the people caught in her net. 

Also in English TV, Cold Case: The Tylenol Murders debuted at No. 2, as the three-part documentary series reexamined a string of unsolved murders tied to the over-the-counter painkiller that triggered a national panic in the ’80s (11.9 million views). Another mystery cracked the Top 10 this week with a cold case that was piping hot among viewers. Praised for its performances and character-driven story, the crime drama Dept. Q, from The Queen’s Gambit creator Scott Frank, debuted at No. 3 (6 million views). The series, adapted from the novels of Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen, follows Detective Chief Inspector Carl Morck (Matthew Goode) as he leads a new department tasked with solving Edinburgh’s cold cases.

Now three months since it premiered, Adolescence, the acclaimed limited series about a teenage boy accused of murdering a classmate, became the second Most Popular English-language series of all-time, with 141.2 million views to date. 

The “It girls” at Shadyside High cut out the competition in more ways than one as horror fans crowned Fear Street: Prom Queen with the No. 1 spot in English film for the second week in a row (8.5 million views). Over in Staten Island, the tables were all booked up at Enoteca Maria, where viewers ordered a delicious and wholesome meal from Nonnas, which took the No. 4 spot in its fourth week with another 5.6 million views.

The thrills continued in non-English film, where the Spanish crime thriller A Widow’s Game debuted at No. 1. Based on the true story of a man who was murdered in an apparent crime of passion, the film drew in viewers from around the world for a Top 10 spot in 90 countries (15.4 million views). Plus, the German action-thriller Exterritorial remained a hit among fans of action and conspiracy, taking the No. 5 spot with an additional 3.9 million views. 

With summer right around the corner, audiences packed their bags for another quarterly getaway with The Four Seasons, which drew 2.4 million views in its fifth week on the English TV charts. Meanwhile, Tyler Perry’s She the People, now in its second week, and FOREVER, in its third, each garnered an additional 2.3 million views.

In non-English TV, audiences entered their “K-era” and tuned into Korean dramas of every variety. The comedy-romance Tastefully Yours came in at No. 2 with 4 million views, followed by the debut of the heartfelt limited series Our Unwritten Seoul, about twin sisters who each embark on a journey of self-discovery (2.8 million views). K-drama fans also remained captivated by the mystery at the heart of Dear Hongrang (1.5 million views), and were charmed by the exploration of relationships in the afterlife in Heavenly Ever After (1.1 million views).
